The application, so far the only method that can avoid all the spam filters is simply a tool to publish the contents of a webpage. Let’s get a clearer picture of this one web marketing tool.

RSS feeds are information carriers that can contain information in the form of content keywords or e-zines that can be either of a product, service or of personal info. The information contained in RSS feeds will be in a summary form allowing the targeted audience to get a bird’s eye view of the web page updates. RSS feed readers are the platforms through which the feeds can be delivered and it is cream to have a good compatibility with your readers. What Makes Steve Jobs, a Steve Jobs?

Steve Jobs, the founder and CEO of Apple Inc. has left us at about 3pm on the 5th October 2011, a day after the launching of iPhone 4GS. His death shook the world. An iconic figure for Apple, many people respects him because of his success-driven attitude and his endless pursuit for perfection and passion. He died because of respiratory arrest from a pancreatic tumor at his house in Palo Alto.

What Makes Steve Jobs, a Steve Jobs?

Steve Jobs is a real talent and no one can deny his influence in revolutionizing the way how people interact with a computer and electronic device. His work in Apple is really remarkable and he is known as a man that has great qualities which separates him from even the most successful CEOs in the world. Even though he is not directly involved in the production line of Apple, he is the one that gives his vision and unique sight on what the people need.

The first thing that makes Steve Jobs as himself is his great aesthetic quality. He always strived for excellence in all the Apple products and builds something that can be received well by the people around the world. For Steve Jobs, the exterior is not the only thing that needs beautification, even the chips, boards and processors inside the digital device must also look well. His perfect design sense is what creates great products like iPhones, iMac, and Macbook Pro. His main rule of thumb is that art and technology must never be separated, as both of them complement each other and makes it a whole.

His sense of perfection is also what makes Steve Jobs a successful man. He will never settle even though he already has a billion-dollar company, and as long as his body permits, he will do all he can to do his best as a CEO for Apple. He will not release a product if it cannot get the top spot in the market, and this can be seen by his judgement to cancel production of Apple PDA at the last minute. He also restarted iPhone development from scratch because he is not satisfied with the outcome.

Another Steve Jobs trait that moulds Apple is his arrogance. He is well aware of his genius mind and great sense and he does not have the modesty to hide them. This is what makes Apple employees believe that their products are the best in the world and they know it. Because of his arrogance, he is not well received by his company’s competitors like Microsoft. He once claimed Microsoft steals his work during a speech at Stanford University in 2005.

Steve Jobs is an enigma that can never be fully understand, now that he has perished from the world. However, his legacy and vision will always be visible at Apple and it is up to the company to continue the great work that Steve Jobs started.

3 Things You May Not Know About Steve Jobs

During his bachelor days, Steve Jobs was a real workaholic and live life with his job. He is the kind of people who would love to spend his days at the office rather than living freely at his home. Because of his nature, he does not have time to prepare meals for himself and before marrying Laurene, his meals will be prepared by a young couple who is also his schoolmate during the days in Berkeley.

Steve Jobs was a militant vegan and he has a weird reason for adopting this diet. During his time in Reed College, he took this diet because this diet would allow him to excrete all mucus and therefore the need to shower. Aside from being a vegan, Steve Jobs also fast because he believed that digestion will take a lot of his energy that can be utilised to do his work. The result from the fast is that he can stay up for several nights in a row. There was also a time where he only eats fruits every day.

For a man with huge amount of wealth, it is normal for Steve Jobs to have a great taste for cars. He always loved German cars like Porsche and Mercedes but he also has a strange habit if he drives a car to the office. If you are searching for Steve Jobs’ car, you can find it at a parking bay specialised for the handicapped and his car will always be the one which has no license plate.

There are a lot other characteristics of Steve Jobs that is considered weird but unique to others. His sense of perfection, aesthetic quality and his arrogance is what brings Apple to its height. He also has a strong will and a never-give-up attitude even though he was thrown out from his own company in the year 1985 (but later come back with new vision and philosophy). Geniuses will always be different from others and that was who Steve Jobs was.

Google Panda Update – What Need To Know?

I am sure most of you have heard the phrase – “Kung Fu Panda 2”, but have you heard the phrase – “Google Panda Update”?

What is Google Panda Update?

At this point of time, I know some of you may have already started scratching your head trying to figure out what I am talking about. Okay, actually what I am referring to is the Google’s latest search engine ranking algorithm update which also known as “Google Panda Update”. Previously, it was known as Google Farmer Update. Not quite sure why it was being renamed to Google Panda? Perhaps the movie Kung Fu Panda 2 is too popular.

KUNGFU PANDA 2

What’s happened is that the recent Google Panda update has apparently ‘kicked’ many websites especially those with low quality content, out of the search rankings and this has caused quite a stir among the SEO professionals and webmasters. Have you been affected by Google Panda kick? I have a good friend complaining that he has a few sites getting slapped and kicked by Google Panda, which has also resulted in the significant drop of Google page rank from 2 to 0. It is also learnt that popular sites like EzineArticles, Wikihow and eHow were quite badly hit by the Panda Update.

Why Google Panda Update?

All of us understand that Google main source of income is from Adwords and Adsense clicks from high quality sites. So, in order to make the search more relevant to Internet searchers, Panda update is used by Google to filter the low quality content site out from Google search results so that only those sites with high quality content come out in the top.

Do you want to know more what Google Panda update really is? Well, I just discovered a very informative video which explains very well on what Google Panda is and how to create a site that is favored by Google Panda.

Important Guidelines for us to Create a Panda-Friendly Site

As we know that Google won’t simply disclose the actual search algorithms to the public because they do not want the bad guys to fool them with dirty tricks and game their search results. However, the good news is that Google’s Amit Singhal does help us quite a fair bit by revealing the Google’s mindset they are having as they write the panda algorithms.

Questions below serve some guidance on how Google distinguish higher-quality sites from lower-quality sites:

  1. Would you trust the information presented in this article?

  4. Would you be comfortable giving your credit card information to this site?

  8. Does the page provide substantial value when compared to other pages in search results?
  9. How much quality control is done on content?
  10. Does the article describe both sides of a story?
  11. Is the site a recognized authority on its topic?
  12. Is the content mass-produced by or outsourced to a large number of creators, or spread across a large network of sites, so that individual pages or sites don’t get as much attention or care?
  13. Was the article edited well, or does it appear sloppy or hastily produced?
  14. For a health related query, would you trust information from this site?

3 Most Obvious Internet Marketing Business Mistakes Newbies Make Online

It is indeed insane to expect amazing results when you are repeating the same mistakes over and over again! So – before starting off your online business, it is very important to know some of the common mistakes that most Internet Marketing newbies make – so that you can avoid them.

I was once too an Internet Marketing newbie and have made a lot of mistakes especially during the initial stages of my business venture online. How I wish it could be smooth sailing for me online, but it was not in actual fact. There is a lot to learn from, and this business also requires a high level of motivation, willpower, dedication, persistence and self-discipline.

Here, I would like to share with you the 3 most obvious mistakes the Internet Marketing newbies make online (so that you don’t have to repeat the same).

1. No Crystal Clear and Compelling Reasons – WHYs

This is the very first mistake that the newbie Internet Marketers often make, that is without the crystal clear and compelling reasons – Why you want to start an Internet business?

Having crystal clear and compelling “WHYs” is so important because it could provide you the basic needs to survive, gain personal power and most importantly have fun in your business. On the other hand, if you start off the business without clear and compelling reasons, you will find it hard to have a burning desire (to achieve your goals) as well as enough motivation (to drive you through all the hoops and obstacles as you go).

So – before focusing on the ‘HOWs’ – ideas and strategies, it is crucial you list down all the reasons why you want to start an Internet business the first place. Take note: your “WHYs” have to be crystal clear and compelling.

2. Adopting An Employee Mindset Into Internet Business

Another common mistake by newbies is adopting an employee mindset into their Internet business. Honestly – whenever I start something, I always have the tendency going back to my comfort zone, doing things the old way. Instead of working on the business, I end up working in the business.

Internet business is a fantastic business model that allows you making money from the comfort of your home at your convenient time. Nevertheless, starting a business online with an employee mindset will surely bring you to failure.

So – start adopting a right mindset of an entrepreneur or business owner now. Do treat your Internet business as a real business, not a hobby. The same applies to your website or blog.

3. Instant Gratification

Continuous learning is a prerequisite for a successful Internet business but the trouble is that many beginners do not have the patience to learn and develop new knowledge and skills that will enable them to get their Internet business off the ground and running especially in the first year. Instead, they are too engrossed in the Internet Marketing hype and spending too much time searching for short and easy ways to make money online without a strong foundation – this is recipe for disaster!

Honestly speaking – there is no such thing as immediate or instant success in any business online. Building an Internet business is comparable to building a tower. A solid foundation must be laid first before we can build the online business into tower of profits.

These are the 3 most obvious mistakes I know most Internet marketing newbies make (including myself) during the first year. Hopefully – you can learn from and avoid them. You are also welcome to share with us your mistakes in the comments section. We would love to hear and learn from you!
